McManus Textile Distribution Limited, located in Trim, County Meath, offers a strategic location just 20 minutes from the Kilcock exit on the N4 and 30 minutes from Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. Operating under the brand HOMETEX, we specialize in the design, import, and distribution of premium-quality, machine-made rugs.
History and Background
With over 30 years of experience in the retail sector in Dublin, we recognized a shifting market landscape following Brexit. Faced with escalating costs, delays, tariffs, freight charges, customs fees, and high minimum order quantities, we identified a significant gap in the Irish wholesale rug market. This insight led to the evolution of our wholesale operations. In April 2023, after successfully building our wholesale business while managing retail operations, we made the strategic decision to close the retail division and focus exclusively on rug importation and distribution.

We aim to provide Irish retailers with a broad selection of premium rugs, offering an alternative to the limited options currently available. We offer a variety of tailored shipping solutions to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Through our established courier partners, we efficiently handle the delivery of both palletized and smaller orders nationwide. Additionally, we support our clients with high-quality digital content, including images and videos, to enhance social media and online sales efforts. Our efficient drop-shipping services ensure the timely and cost-effective fulfillment of online orders. We also offer a direct mixed container option for our larger clients. Our excellent relationships with our suppliers enable us to negotiate low MOQ, branding, packaging, and logistics to suit your needs
